LANGUAGE NEST is an independent student-driven club aimed at organizing language and literary activities to promote leadership and organizational skills among students right from their first year of admission. The club is run by an elected student body consisting of only first year member-students. This student body plans and executes its activities under the supervision of an advisory committee headed by the professor in-charge Training and Placement Cell. The club organizes events once every month besides one annual event in January. All the events are open for the students of all the years and their participation and performance is recognized with certificates and/or prize money. Under its umbrella comes even the SRKR Toastmasters, which is a part of International Toastmasters. Enmasse, the club is of the students, by the students and for the students.
The institution formally inaugurated the club Language Nest on January 08, 2022, in the open-air auditorium. The Principal, Prof. M. Jagapathi Raju , presided over the meeting as the Secretary and Correspondent Sri S V R Raju announced the inception of the club amid applause of the students and the faculty. Prof. Bh V N Lakshmi briefed the gathering on the purpose of the club and its objectives. To celebrate the occasion, many students performed in the cultural events that followed. The whole event was coordinated by the Dept. of English and T&P cell.
Language Nest conducted the contest Gadget review on 21-03-2022 in T & P cell. The following students participated in the contest. Ms. K. Aruna Kumari and Mr. M. Sankar, assistant professors in English, acted as judges. Mr. D. N. Varma and Mr. K. Hashwanth won the first and second prizes respectively.

Language Nest celebrated its first cycle of events by conducting a few Cultural Events in I-block of SRKREC. Many students attended this event and participated in the events like singing and dancing. Students from all the branches witnessed the event and encouraged the performers.

SRKR Toastmasters was chartered on March 8, 2019, in SRKR Engineering College as an initiative of University Innovation Fellowship Students of the college and it is a student-driven club to promote communication, public speaking, entrepreneurship and leadership skills. SRKR Toastmasters is an integral part of Toastmasters International (TI) which is a US headquartered nonprofit educational organization that operates clubs worldwide designed to help individuals become better communicators through leadership training and public speaking practice. Regardless of whether you are a beginner in public speaking or have some exposure to public speaking, this club will prepare students to face a large audience and make an impact with their speeches. Students would be able to do better work presentations; leading meetings - and participate in them - more confidently; speaking more smoothly off the cuff handling one-on-one interactions with family, friends and colleagues more positively.
