A workshop on the significance of NABL (National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories) accreditation was conducted as part of the Gunwatta Yatra Awareness Program at the Civil Department of S.R.K. Engineering College. R. Srikanth, NABL Bengaluru Regional Head and QCIR Director, emphasized that skill recognition in laboratories is achievable only through NABL accreditation. The event highlighted how NABL testing boosts reliability in results and contributes to technological advancement. Key attendees included College Director M Jagapathiraju, Principal KV Muralikrishnamraju, Civil HOD G Sri Bala, and R&D Dean T Vamsi Nagaraju.
SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram, organized a yoga awareness programme on June 20, 2025, at the Model Primary Mandal Parishad Primary School in Peda Amiram, as part of the YogaAndhra initiative. This event was held under the guidance of the Upper Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) and the People's Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE).
The programme aimed to instill discipline and positive thinking among students through the practice of yoga. College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju emphasized the mental and physical benefits of regular yoga practice.
The event witnessed active participation from Principal D. Prasanna Bharathi, SRKU BA Coordinator Dr. Mehar Ganesh, UBA Coordinator Dr. T. Rambabu, Yoga Trainer P. Ramesh Raju, Dr. R. Subbarao, Dr. Raghuram, Dr. Jeevan Kumar, and other dignitaries.
A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Difficult and Semi-Difficult IC Design Using CAD Tools” was successfully conducted at SRKR Engineering College in collaboration with JNTUK Kakinada (Spoke Academy) under the guidance of NIT Warangal's Electronics and ICT Academy. The event was supported by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Faculty members from across the country participated in this intensive training, gaining hands-on experience with advanced CAD tools. Programme Coordinator N. Udaykumar highlighted the role of software experts in introducing emerging technologies. Srihari Rao emphasized the importance of such training in enhancing professional skills. The program also saw active participation from JNTUK Program Coordinator N. Balaji, B. Leela Kumari, and College In-charge Principal Dr. B.H. Ramakrishnamaraju.
As part of International Yoga Day celebrations, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of SRKR Engineering College, in collaboration with the People’s Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE), organized Yoga Andhra programmes in its adopted villages. The initiative aimed to enhance the mental development and well-being of students through the practice of yoga.Yoga sessions were conducted at Kopalle Zilla Parishad High School, Jakkaram Primary School, and Kallakuru High School, with enthusiastic participation from students. Headmasters K. Nirmaladevi (Kopalle), Gurumurthy (Kallakuru), and Ramaraju (Jakkaram) supported and motivated students to practice yoga regularly.
Yoga instructors Ramesh Raju and Vamsi Krishna led the training, while the event was coordinated and supervised by UBA Village Coordinators:Dr. K.M. Ganesh, Dr. G. Suribabu, J. Jeevan Kumar, Dr. R. Subbarao, and Dr. N. Veerraju.Dr. T. Rambabu, UBA Coordinator, emphasized that yoga plays a vital role in improving students’ concentration, emotional balance, and mental strength.
A Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Custom and Semi-Custom IC Design Using Cadence Tools" was inaugurated at SRKR Engineering College on June 16, 2025. The programme is organized by the ECE Department in collaboration with JNTU-Kakinada (Spoke Academy) and NIT Warangal E&ICT Academy, with support from the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju, Principal of SRKR, emphasized the importance of continuous faculty training in new technologies. Dr. N Uday Kumar, Head of ECE at JNTU-K, presided over the event.
