- The Department has the professional association Computer Society of India- CSI which conducts skill development & communications programs.
- The Department organizes the International and National Conferences for both the B.Tech and M.Tech students every year with a banner of "Techfleet" and "Converge".
- The department conducts SDP, Workshops on latest technologies by eminent personalities.
- As a part of Industry Interaction, M.Tech students avail internship in MNCs.
- Innovation centre encourages students to perform their projects in international/ national level competition like TGMC-IBM, CSI, ISTE etc.,
- Technology centre conducts the training on cutting edge technologieslike Hadoop, Android, PHP etc., to meet industrial requirements.
- The department has hobby club that encourages the students in many social relevant & co-curricular activities.
- Once a year Students visit Multinational companies as a part of industrial tours.
