1. Technology Centre:

Technology Centre has been established with an aim to facilitate technology training and various skill development programs / workshops for all the students of SRKR Engineering College. The centre concentrates on skill development in latest technologies and encourages the students to do projects in all disciplines of engineering / technology. Technology Centre has been well equipped with a dedicated computer lab with all necessary facilities.

• To develop and implement support strategies and methodologies of effective use of information technology.
• To maintain reliable technological infrastructures, and provide continuous improvement and technical support to the students and staff.
• To plan, organize and provide training that will enhance students knowledge and skills that are increasingly fundamental for students in educational institutions.
• To organize courses to increase information technology literacy, exposure and skills of SRKREC students that will be essential in the students job career.

2. Innovation & Incubation Centre:

I-Hub has been established with an aim to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among students and teaching staff of SRKR Engineering College. The centre concentrates on latest technologies, new idea generation and encourages the students to do prototypes and products in all disciplines of engineering. The SRKR i-Hub nurtures innovation, and encourages entrepreneurial talents among students, faculty. It facilitates inter-disciplinary research and provides incubation facilities to start ups and budding entrepreneurs. I-Hub has been well equipped with a dedicated computer lab with all necessary facilities.

3. MSME Business Incubation:

In the year 2016, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Govt. of India recognized our Institute as Business Incubator (BI)/Host Institute (HI) for implementation of the scheme "Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubator".

4. Institution’s Innovation Council:

MoE's Innovation Cell (MIC)' - Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) has established to innovation in the institution and to encourage, inspire and nurture young students by supporting them to work with new ideas and transform them into prototypes.

Major Focus of IIC

• To create a vibrant local innovation ecosystem
• Start-up/ entrepreneurship supporting Mechanism in HEIs
• Establish Function Ecosystem for Scouting Ideas and Pre-incubation of Ideas
• Develop better Cognitive Ability amongst Technology Students

5. AICTE IDEA LAB

AICTE IDEA Lab is going to be a long-term intervention aiming to transform educationimparted in SRKREC to promote Multidisciplinary education, innovation and research takes place. IDEA LAB creates the ecosystem for transforming ideation to Prototype or Product. IDEA LAB creates the platform for innovation and research to students and faculty with hands-on experience with the latest equipment to in order to develop new projects and offer live internships with the industry support.
