SRKR Engineering College observed Constitution Day on November 26th, marking the importance of India’s Constitution and the values it upholds. The event was held at the conference hall, with students and faculty coming together to honor the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and celebrate the fundamental principles of justice, equality, and fraternity.
The event was graced by Dr. Vijay Kumar, Secretary of the AP SC Welfare Association, Bhimavaram Mandal Branch, and other dignitaries, including DNA Association Secretary Gadiraju Saryu Narayanaraju. As part of the celebrations, the book titled ‘Society Equality Platform: We Are Our Peculiarities of India's Constitution’ was launched at SR Educational Institute, Bhimavaram under the patronage of Kappinar Shyam Prasad.
In various locations across the region, Dalit community leaders paid floral tributes to Dr. Ambedkar's statue in towns such as Narasapuram, Mogaluru, and Penugonda. Tehsildar Kenake Kisho, Tehsildar Jeelanita Dhuri, and other officials were present to honor the occasion.
Additionally, Constitution Day events took place at multiple schools and offices in the region, with tributes paid to Ambedkar’s portrait and discussions held on the significance of the Constitution. The celebrations in Tanuku and other towns included the garlanding of Ambedkar’s portrait by distinguished leaders and members of the legal community, highlighting the continued relevance of the Constitution in shaping India's democratic framework.

SRKR Engineering College proudly congratulates Dr. Sheikh Ramina Begum, Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Physics, on being awarded her Ph.D. in Physics from Andhra University. The announcement was made by the Principal of the college, Dr. K.V. Muralikrishnam Raju.

She expressed her gratitude to Professor Y., Head of the Department of Physics, Andhra University, for his invaluable guidance throughout her doctoral journey.

We are proud to announce that Sridhara Syamachandra, a third-year AIDS student of SRKR Engineering College, has been selected to attend an international conference at Harvard University. The invitation was extended by the Harvard College Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR), which will be held in February at Harvard University.

SRKR Engineering College is excited to announce the inauguration of its Software Development Center, aimed at encouraging student startups and fostering innovation. The center was officially opened by College Secretary and Correspondent Mr. Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma on November 13th.
During the inauguration, Mr. Nishanth Varma emphasized the importance of combining academic excellence with entrepreneurial spirit, suggesting that students can not only excel in their studies but also earn income by engaging in startups. He highlighted that six startups have already been established within the college, providing students with valuable income-generating opportunities. Over the past two years, more than 30 CSD students have successfully completed remote internships with various software companies and startups.
The Software Development Center is primarily designed for students of the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) departments, but it is also open to students from other disciplines to explore the startup ecosystem. Mr. Nishanth Varma encouraged all students to take full advantage of this facility to develop their entrepreneurial skills and contribute to the growing startup culture at SRKR Engineering College.
Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Director of the College, expressed his belief that the center would play a key role in nurturing a startup culture while enhancing software development capabilities among students. The inauguration event was attended by Dr. BHVS Ramakrishna Raju, In-charge Principal, Dr. Mudunuri Suresh, Head of the CSD Department, Dr. N. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Head of the Technology Center, and Dr. T. Vamsi Naga Raju, Dean of R&D.

Dr. Begum's research, titled "NLO and Molecular Docking Analysis of Particular Polyatomic Compounds: A Study by DFT," was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Y. Ramakrishna, Head of the Department of Physics at Andhra University.
