SRKR Engineering College is excited to announce the inauguration of its Software Development Center, aimed at encouraging student startups and fostering innovation. The center was officially opened by College Secretary and Correspondent Mr. Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma on November 13th.
During the inauguration, Mr. Nishanth Varma emphasized the importance of combining academic excellence with entrepreneurial spirit, suggesting that students can not only excel in their studies but also earn income by engaging in startups. He highlighted that six startups have already been established within the college, providing students with valuable income-generating opportunities. Over the past two years, more than 30 CSD students have successfully completed remote internships with various software companies and startups.
The Software Development Center is primarily designed for students of the Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) departments, but it is also open to students from other disciplines to explore the startup ecosystem. Mr. Nishanth Varma encouraged all students to take full advantage of this facility to develop their entrepreneurial skills and contribute to the growing startup culture at SRKR Engineering College.
Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, Director of the College, expressed his belief that the center would play a key role in nurturing a startup culture while enhancing software development capabilities among students. The inauguration event was attended by Dr. BHVS Ramakrishna Raju, In-charge Principal, Dr. Mudunuri Suresh, Head of the CSD Department, Dr. N. Gopalakrishnamurthy, Head of the Technology Center, and Dr. T. Vamsi Naga Raju, Dean of R&D.

SRKR Engineering College is proud to announce that Dr. Ramiza Begum, Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering Physics, has been awarded her Ph.D. in Physics by Andhra University. Dr. Begum's research, titled "NLO and Molecular Docking Analysis of Particular Polyatomic Compounds: A Study by DFT," was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Y. Ramakrishna, Head of the Department of Physics at Andhra University.
On this remarkable achievement, College Secretary and Correspondent Mr. Sagi Ramakrishna Nishanth Varma felicitated Dr. Ramiza Begum on behalf of the college management.
Dr. M. Jagapathiraju, Director of the College, commended the dedication and hard work demonstrated by Dr. Begum, emphasizing that her research has the potential to contribute significantly to the field of Physics. He encouraged her to continue her research, as the full impact of her findings will materialize through persistent effort.
Dr. M. V. Someswara Rao, Head of the Engineering Physics Department, also congratulated Dr. Begum and highlighted that the recently granted research center by JNTUK will provide valuable support for future research endeavors.

SRKR Engineering College is pleased to announce that Sridharashyam Chandrabhotla, a third-year student from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AIDS), has been selected to present at an esteemed international conference at Harvard University in February next year. SRKR Engineering College is proud to announce that Dr. D. Sridevi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, has successfully earned her Doctorate in Mathematics. The Ph.D. was awarded by B University, with a major focus on Mathematics. Her research, titled "Some Problems on MHD Convective Flows Through Porous Media," was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. CHV Ramana Murthy of the College of Engineering at B University.

The agreement was formalized during a special event held in Mumbai on November 13th, with Vamsikrishna Janga, Assistant Vice Chancellor of International Enrollment Management at Northeastern University, and Assistant Director of Academic Partnership for South Asia Enrollment Management, signing on behalf of the University.
Dr. KV Muralikrishnamraju, Principal of SRKR Engineering College, expressed excitement about this collaboration, which opens doors for SRKR students to study at some of the best schools in the USA. Dr. BHIVN Lakshmi, Head of English and Foreign Languages and Overseas Education Representative at SRKR, highlighted that the MoU offers students a reduction in fees and access to scholarship opportunities at Northeastern University.
The college has already set up examination centers for GRE, TOEFL, and IELTS, which will support students wishing to study abroad.
