A five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Difficult and Semi-Difficult IC Design Using CAD Tools” was successfully conducted at SRKR Engineering College in collaboration with JNTUK Kakinada (Spoke Academy) under the guidance of NIT Warangal's Electronics and ICT Academy. The event was supported by the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Faculty members from across the country participated in this intensive training, gaining hands-on experience with advanced CAD tools. Programme Coordinator N. Udaykumar highlighted the role of software experts in introducing emerging technologies. Srihari Rao emphasized the importance of such training in enhancing professional skills. The program also saw active participation from JNTUK Program Coordinator N. Balaji, B. Leela Kumari, and College In-charge Principal Dr. B.H. Ramakrishnamaraju.
As part of International Yoga Day celebrations, the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell of SRKR Engineering College, in collaboration with the People’s Association of Inner Engineering (PAIE), organized Yoga Andhra programmes in its adopted villages. The initiative aimed to enhance the mental development and well-being of students through the practice of yoga.Yoga sessions were conducted at Kopalle Zilla Parishad High School, Jakkaram Primary School, and Kallakuru High School, with enthusiastic participation from students. Headmasters K. Nirmaladevi (Kopalle), Gurumurthy (Kallakuru), and Ramaraju (Jakkaram) supported and motivated students to practice yoga regularly.
Yoga instructors Ramesh Raju and Vamsi Krishna led the training, while the event was coordinated and supervised by UBA Village Coordinators:Dr. K.M. Ganesh, Dr. G. Suribabu, J. Jeevan Kumar, Dr. R. Subbarao, and Dr. N. Veerraju.Dr. T. Rambabu, UBA Coordinator, emphasized that yoga plays a vital role in improving students’ concentration, emotional balance, and mental strength.

The programme is organized by the ECE Department in collaboration with JNTU-Kakinada (Spoke Academy) and NIT Warangal E&ICT Academy, with support from the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology.
Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju, Principal of SRKR, emphasized the importance of continuous faculty training in new technologies. Dr. N Uday Kumar, Head of ECE at JNTU-K, presided over the event. Senior engineers from NTuple Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, are delivering expert sessions to participating faculty from across the Godavari districts.
Bhimavaram SRKR Engineering College Coding Club will conduct a fullstack development course online for three months in collaboration with Wheels.AI, said the college principal KV Muralikrishnamraju. The posters for the online course were unveiled at the college on Wednesday. He said that as part of the agreement with Willmst AI, there will be two months of training and a month-long internship. The principal said that the online training course will start in the third week of this month. Students should register in advance to get the training. The training will be provided by experts from the industry, mainly in the real world.

SRKR Engineering College Principal Dr. K. V. Muralikrishnamraju specially felicitated the school principal V. Anuradha and the faculty members for the excellent results achieved by the students of China Amiram Zilla Parishad High School, the adopted school of their college, in the tenth standard examinations. Speaking at the event held at the college principal's office on Saturday, HM V. Anuradha of China Amiram Zilla Parishad High School said that the encouragement provided by SRKR Engineering College in providing infrastructure facilities in their school is unforgettable. He said that 120 students from his school wrote the exams in the tenth grade exams and 98 passed, achieving 82 percent results. More than 14 of his students scored 500 marks, including ASS VR. Karthik who scored 589 marks and secured first place in the mandal and third place in the district, bringing good name to the school. He said that he received praise from the district authorities. On this occasion, he congratulated the teachers Chintapalli Prasada Rao, P. Appanna, and P. Raviraju, who worked hard to achieve excellent results.
