The National Level Technical Symposium IINA-25 concluded successfully on Saturday, hosted by the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Student Wing of SRKR Engineering College, Bhimavaram. The two-day event, titled "Nipuna 25", was presided over by Dr. S. Ram Gopal Reddy, who shared valuable insights during the symposium.
During the event, renowned financial advisor M. Kaushik emphasized the importance of financial projections in achieving financial progress. He stated that every employee can improve their financial situation by making proper income and expenditure forecasts.
Mr. Kaushik expressed his appreciation for the large participation from students across various regions, highlighting the significance of financial planning. He also discussed the value of camaraderie and the importance of sharing knowledge among peers, particularly in areas such as stock market investments.
Dr. S. Ram Gopal Reddy, Vice President of the Student Body, emphasized the importance of guidance from ISTE faculty and the role of investment scrutiny in financial success.
The symposium also featured various competitions, and prizes were awarded to alumni participants who took part in the expert program.
College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi, along with faculty and staff including Shanmukha Priya, Sanjay, Ratna Kumari, Kusuma, Ajay Raju, and Principal Dr. KV Murali Krishnamraju Kumar, were present at the event to support the students and encourage their learning.
SRKR Engineering College hosted the prestigious National Level Go-Kart Championship from January 23rd to 26th, with teams from across the country competing in various categories. The event concluded with Visakhapatnam's Raghu Engineering College emerging as the Overall Champion, creating a record by securing both the first and second positions.
The prize-giving ceremony, held on January 26th, was graced by the Chief Guest, West Godavari District Collector, Chadalawada Nagarani, who congratulated the winners and highlighted the importance of mechanical engineering in the global industrial revolution. She emphasized that the ability of students to design and drive their own vehicles was a testament to their self-confidence and technological progress. She specially congratulated the winning team from Raghu Engineering College and commended SRKR Engineering College for organizing such a successful national-level competition.
The overall championship saw Raghu Engineering College take the top two spots, while the third position was secured by the mechanical engineering team from SRKR Engineering College. Raghu Engineering College also excelled in the acceleration, CPAD, and time bottle categories, winning first and second positions in each.
College Principal Dr. K.V. Muralikrishnam Raju presided over the ceremony, with College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishantha Varma, Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, and other distinguished faculty members in attendance.
Dr. K. Suresh Babu, Head of Mechanical Engineering, shared that SRKR Engineering College will continue to host such national-level competitions in the future. On this occasion, memos of appreciation were presented to the coordinators and management for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event smoothly over the past three months.
SRKR Engineering College is set to host an exciting Hackathon, "Dev Challenge," organized under the auspices of Google Developer Groups, on January 31st and February 1st. This event aims to bring together students to design innovative solutions to real-world problems using modern technologies.
The announcement was made by College Principal Dr. K.V. Muralikrishnam Raju, who emphasized the importance of such programs in fostering technological perspectives and encouraging creative thinking among students. On this occasion, College Director Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju released the event poster and spoke about the significance of hackathons in nurturing innovative ideas. He encouraged students to participate and prove their talent by submitting projects for the national-level Solution Challenge organized by Google.
As part of the event, prizes worth ₹10,000 will be awarded, further motivating students to showcase their skills. Additionally, the winners of the Solution Challenge will stand a chance to win prizes worth ₹8,00,000. This event offers a great opportunity for students to not only enhance their technical skills but also to gain national recognition.

In celebration of National Girl Child Day, the Women Empowerment Cell of SRKR Engineering College, in collaboration with the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department, organized a special event to raise awareness about the importance of protecting and educating girls. The event featured Dr. Aishwarya Bhupathiraju, a prominent doctor, as the key speaker.
Dr. Aishwarya emphasized that while the protection of girls is crucial, their education should be given the highest priority. She stressed that empowering women through education is essential for the betterment of society. Expressing concern over recent incidents of attacks on women, she urged everyone to work together to prevent such crimes and ensure the safety of women in all spheres of life.
The Principal of the college, Dr. K.V. Muralikrishnam Raju, addressed the gathering, highlighting the significant achievements of women across various fields. He pointed out that women are excelling in all areas, often surpassing their male counterparts.

The SRKR Engineering College Coding Club is organizing a coding competition on February 4th, designed to engage students across various levels of expertise. The event, announced by Principal Dr. K.V. Muralikrishnam Raju, aims to foster coding skills and creativity among students, providing them with a platform to compete and enhance their technical capabilities.
The event poster was officially released by the Director of the College, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju. During the launch, Dr. Jagapathi Raju shared details about the competition, which is organized into three categories: basic level for first-year students, intermediate level for second-year students, and expert level for third-year students. Notably, the competition is not open to final-year students, as it focuses on building a strong coding foundation for those in earlier years.
Dr. Jagapathi Raju also highlighted the significance of coding, emphasizing that despite technological advancements, students who master coding skills will succeed in all fields. He encouraged students to take full advantage of this opportunity to improve their coding abilities.
