SRKR Engineering College organized the grand finale of SOC popularily known among students as SRKR Orator Championship. It is an annual event aimed at identifying and Systematically assesing over 300 students in public speaking.In the grand finale 10 students performed on stage before a huge gathering involving students,Faculties,Principal Dr M Jagapathi Raju and Secretary Cum Correspondent Sri S V Rangaraju.The event ended after 3 students were announced winners and given awrds by the principal and the secretary.At the event Dr N G K Murthy,Head Technology Centre was present along with the convenor of the event Mr Venkata Durga Kiran V and Cheif Judge of the event Mr M Sankar
In SRKR Engineering College Mechanical students were Designed a vehicle named as Allterain Vehicle(ATV) and got best Design Award in national level.Total 30 members of Mechanical students are formed as a group and designed a car named as Agraganya .This Agraganya was participated in national level Car challenging competitions and they are secured three national awards and also got Dronacharya award to Faculty those who are involved in designing of vehicle. This competition was conducted in biknur village near by Rajasthan Thar Desert,it is near by Pakistan boarder.This competition was organized by some international Automobile companies from October 2nd to 4th at Biknur village. Dr. K. Brahma Raju,Head of Mechanical Engineering Department,he always gives motivation and ideas to students for doing new innovations. Assistant Professors K.Sitarama Raju,Sudheer Kumar Varma and Rajendra Prasad Varma always supports students and gives the technical ideas and innovation ideas.In this Competition girl Student Prajna secured best lady driver award and she was acted as co-driver, B.Pavan acted as Vehicle Driver,Ganesh Reddy acted as Captain and T.Ramasahith acted as vice captain.

UAV Varma Selected for National Cricket Tournament
A Final year CSE Student of SRKR Engineering College Bhimavaram, UAV Varma was selected for the Under-23 national cricket tournament to be held at Jiyapur from October 28, said college principal Dr M Jagapathi Raju on Wednesday.He added that the Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association(ACS) selected Varma in the State teams as an all-rounder.The principal spoke on his brilliant record, as last year under his captaincy,AP cricket team won the south Zone inter-university competition,with him bagging the man of the match award.The college secretary and correspondent S V Rangaraju congratulated him and wished him bright future in cricket.Physical director Dr Ch Harimohan and CSE department head Dr M Sivarambadriraju congratulated Varma.
