Bhimavaram Rural, January 8: District Joint Collector T. Rahul Kumar Reddy addressed students at SRKR Engineering College on the topic of "Civil Services Preparation Strategy and Guide." In his session, he emphasized that success in civil services exams comes through continuous study and a deep understanding of socio-economic conditions. He also encouraged students to stay updated on current affairs, particularly by regularly reading newspapers, as they are vital for civil services preparation. The session was organized under the Women Empowerment Cell (WORC ICC), with Dr. P. Bhuvaneshwari, Coordinator of the Women Empowerment Cell, presiding over the event. The college management, including College Secretary and Correspondent Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishnam Raju, also attended and spoke during the event, supporting the efforts to motivate students towards civil services. Conference on Higher Education Opportunities at Northeastern University

Sankranti Celebrations at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram Rural, January 6: SRKR Engineering College recently celebrated Sankranti, a festival that symbolizes the rich traditions of India, with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by Minister Bhupathiraju Srinivasavarma as the chief guest. Sankranti celebrations at the college included a variety of traditional activities, such as Gangireddu dances, Harida Tula stories, bonfires, and an array of mouth-watering Telugu delicacies. The event saw active participation from a large number of students, and the college management, including College President Secretary and Sagi Ramakrishna Nishant Varma, emphasized the importance of students voluntarily participating in such cultural events to showcase their hidden talents. College Director, Dr. M. Jagapathi Raju, and Principal Dr. KV Muralikrishna Raju also took part in the celebrations, which were met with much excitement and enthusiasm. The event was further attended by prominent figures such as MLA Raghuramaraju, the District Collector, and other officials. Virtual Launch of the Filter Bed at SRKR Engineering College

Bhimavaram Rural: SRKR Engineering College recently launched a new filter bed facility, constructed with financial assistance from the Peda Amiram Pham Chayat, valued at Rs. 35 lakhs. The inauguration was conducted virtually from the premises of the college, with Minister Lokesh leading the event. During the launch, Minister Lokesh praised the college management for their continuous contributions to both educational progress and community service. He congratulated the college for its ongoing initiatives that serve the public good. Bhimavaram: The Computer Science and Engineering Department of SRKR Engineering College recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with a grand event, attended by alumni from across the country and abroad. The celebrations were marked by the presence of Dr. G Parthasarathy Verma, Vice Chancellor of KL Deemed to Be University, Vijayawada, who delivered an inspiring address to the gathering. Dr. Parthasarathy Verma emphasized that the achievements of former students stand as symbols of the college's progress. He highlighted the rapid growth of technology and the importance of developing skills beyond just obtaining degrees. College Director Dr. M.
